Seed Food and Wine festival takes over Miami with a healthy treat featuring plant-based food. Seed is the first festival in the region for the vegan or people who are trying to incorporate veggies into their everyday meal. Alison Burgos and Michelle Gaber organized this event after a year of turning vegan. They wanted to inspire others with the effect of being a vegan with the cooperation of South Florida restaurants and retailers including Green Bar & Kitchen, Basil Park, Bunnie Cakes and more. They have also worked with vegan all-stars and chefs for the festival. Only vegan foods will be served along with food demonstrations and tasting, entertainment, interactive learning experiences for the kids and more exciting activities. The festival will be up from Wednesday, October 15 – Sunday, October 19. Join this hearty event in Miami with your kids and be inspired.
Activities will be as follows:
Wednesday, October 15 – Film Screening – FAT, SICK AND NEARLY DEAD 2 followed by bites, juices and craft beers
Thursday, October 16 – Thrive Magazine VIP Cocktail Party
Friday, October 17 – Vedge – an evening with Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby hosted by Alicia Silverstone
Saturday, October 18 – Festival Day : White Lotus Dinner Experience with Matthew Kenney and The Sacred Space presents Yoga with Dawn B, Jodi Carey and beats by Omtronica
Sunday, October 19 – Sprouts Kids Day presented by Whole Foods Market and Beachside Brunch with Mark Reinfeld and Amber Antonelli
